Food Shuttle Program

The 2020 Pandemic caused our Freedom School programs and many other programs to cancel due to social distancing and the CDC guidelines. In March 2020, we started a "Food Shuttle" to distribute food to those disproportionately impacted by COVID-19.

Within communities of color, with so many hidden hungry, are often first responders and still others are daycare providers who agreed to shelter and care for the children, so their parents can work.

We serve pantry food to over 345 families each week, including 300 children in partnership with two local businesses. We distribute food to those who routinely face food uncertainty.
